A quiet weekday, a full heart, and a growing belly
Today feels like a soft goodbye to this season.
It’s wild to think that another newborn is about to come out of me (!). These final weeks of pregnancy are always tough — at least for me. I start to feel angsty, ready to meet baby, and I’m so over sleeping like a rotisserie chicken. The tossing, the turning, the multiple bathroom trips during the night… ugh, not exactly dreamy.
But today? Today feels calm. It’s a sunny 73 degrees in Vegas, and I’m soaking it up outside at one of my favorite local coffee shops, laptop open, and a dirty vanilla chai right next to me.
My father-in-law usually comes by once a week to hang with the kids so I can sneak away for a few hours, which is always such a treat.
Today feels extra special though because it’s my last solo Wednesday before weekly doctor visits take over my calendar.
It’s a little surreal knowing life is about to shift again, any moment now! I’m not sure what life with three littles will look like — probably a little messy, a lot loud, but for sure filled with so much love.
And while I’m not exactly looking forward to figuring out a new routine (🫣), I am looking forward to this next chapter.
So, whatever your week’s looked like so far, I hope you get a quiet pocket of time to do something that feels good — whether it’s getting some good ol’ vitamin D, drinking your coffee while it’s still hot (or cold), or simply getting out of the house to go to Target. You deserve it! 😚

thinking about 💭: the Trader Joes mini bag craze, like I honestly don’t get it.
