Is it even summer if Love Island isn’t playing the background? I don’t think so.
I only jumped on the bandwagon a few years ago, but now it’s something I definitely look forward to. There’s just nothing like some quality trash TV after a long, soul-draining day — courtesy of my tiny roommates!
But lately, my 1.5 y/o little stud-of-a-son and I have been watching Love Island UK together after his first nap of the day. I know, I know. Not exactly the bonding time they suggest in parenting books, but hey, I enjoy it (and I *think* he does too 🤠).
And no, I so wish I was watching the USA version so I could keep up with my non-existent group chat — but I don’t have a Peacock account. (If anyone wants to share their login, now is the time, just reply to this email lol)
Anyway. Enough about that.
You probably noticed a little glow-up in here. A new email banner and some fresh colors. A checkered print literally hates to see me coming. I’ve been meaning to switch things up for awhile and finally carved out the time.
Also: I’ve been lowkey obsessed with that neon green-ish/yellow vibe. It’s giving modern, edgy, brat summer-y (kinda). And I’m here for it 😤
Full disclosure though! I have no clue what I’m doing when it comes to branding. So if that’s your thing, please let me pick your brain. I would 1000% love to learn.

Cool mom accessory. A summer staple for moms who want to feel cool, but already are! 10/10 would wear to Target and elsewhere.
Something to watch. This movie surprised me. Highy recommend.
Summer baby must-have. I never used a nursing cover with my first two kids, but this time around, I gave it a try and so glad I did. This one is not only affordable, but also lightweight and super breathable (a must with a summer baby). And bonus: it also doubles as a car seat cover.
