My husband and I went on a summer long road trip in 2020 as well. Same part of the country too and it was wonderful. It was just the right time and things worked out to make it possible and I hope with my whole heart that another right time will appear at some point in our lives. We took our then 4-year old with us and now I figure we're locked in at home at least until he graduates from high school. Someday though!
