I truly can’t believe we are almost through with the year. But before that! It’s my favorite time to pause & reflect on everything I’ve accomplished, learned, and overcome. In this Q3 review, I’m sharing my personal highs, lows, and lessons I’ve learned along the way.
I’ll be real.. I hesitated to send this out. I found myself wondering if anyone would really care about reading it. I felt a bit cringy sharing what I’m thankful for and what I struggled with.
But then I thought about how much I enjoy reading reflections like this myself. And maybe there’s at least one person out there who will be inspired to look back on their own last three months, whether in the same way I do or differently.
This newsletter is for that person. I hope you enjoy my Q3 recap 💌
To help you plan your next steps, I’ve also included a FREE resource template at the end so you can plan for a strong finish to the year.
Let’s dive in! 👇🏼
JULY: PERSONAL GAINS
Finally made it back to the gym after what feels like forever. Also, adding weightlifting to my routine has been amazing. Why haven’t I done it sooner?
AUGUST: SHIFTING GEARS
I decided to change my newsletter content from quick link roundups to more thoughtful deep dives. While it was a bit of change at first, I’ve truly come to love the weekly challenge of sharing my thoughts.
SEPTEMBER: NEW GROWTH
I got a fresh lil fall chop, started a new workout routine, and something exciting is on the way. I can't wait to share!
HIGHS

Reached 100 subscribers. What a milestone!
Sticking to a consistent workout routine with weightlifting and dumbbells—something I’ve never done before.
LOWS
Started an Instagram account for this newsletter, but quickly realized it’s not the platform I want to focus on right now (maybe later!). For now, I’m putting my energy into growing on Substack.
Not reading enough as I’d like. These past months I’ve really just enjoyed watching TV as a means to relax, and that’s perfectly okay.

Love this! I also started a new weightlifting workout routine after a year of working out consistently in a HIIT environment, I'm now doing higher weights at a slower pace and it's been a highlight. What is your workout like?
I'm all about grind szn right now. All those things I said I was going to be in 2024? Time to get 'em done. Nothing like a deadline to motivate me, and the new year is LOOMING.
